I was on it for a year and got off it in August. Took me 2 weeks to get my "period" that lasted 2 weeks. This month, I was 5 days late and am having a fairly "normal" period.

It can take up to 1 1/2 years, depending on how long you were on it and how quickly your body gets rid of toxins. Usually the longer you were on it the longer it takes for your body I get back to normal.

Doctors say anything up to 6 months to get back to normal periods and ovulating. It differs for each person. Hope it helps

I had my last shot in November 2013 and just finished my first real period. Don't know if I'm ovulating yet. Everything I've read and from what the doctors told me it can easily be a year. It really just depends on your body. It isn't related to how long you were on it.
