What's actually the 1st & last day?

We have been trying for 2 years to get pregnant and sometimes I think maybe it's cause I'm counting my days wrong. I count my first day when I see the first little amount of blood and my last day when I know it's gone evening if the bleeding is light and just when I wipe. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? Any help would be greatly taken in. Thanks in advance!

Typically you will have a day of just spotting before your actual flow starts. That is NOT day 1. Day 1 is the day the flow actually starts. This month I spotted I. The afternoon and then in the evening my actual flow started but in the 18 years or so that I have been having a period that is the very first time that ever happened!

Perhaps try BBT and also OPKS they are much more helpful than just guessing when you are ovukating

I've always read that the first day is the day of full menstrual flow, not spotting. And how long it lasts or the ending day doesn't really matter. Just add a couple days to the beginning and end of your fertile window to make sure you are covered. I think it would be unlikely that it's the cause of being unable to conceive over 2 years, but you can also talk to your doctor about your cycles and they can help!
