I used to not think so but do now. I lost mine at 17 and had been with the same guy from 15 to 18. I'm 24 now and to this day I still feel somewhat connected to him and he's told me he feels the same way. There's a chemical a female releases when she has sex and if she feels loved generally she is connected (mentally) with him even if he doesn't. Men usually release the chemical when they bond with their kids. I can't remember the chemical is called though

I don't think it's a sacred thing, but that also doesn't mean I'm going to run out and lose my virginity to just anyone. But a woman's virginity certainly doesn't define her or her worth. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be safe or healthy about sex. You definitely should.

Mmm I wouldn't say sacred ? but more like valuable. Ur virginity is worth more then anything on earth, but the way secrecy works is if ur married or if ur trully in love with the person ur giving it to.

I would say that in this day and time it isn't. I think it's sad to see all these really young girls (children) talking about losing their virginity and not even being ashamed of it. Very sad

I used to think yes it is, but after a while I figured it just is made to seem that way to keep you from having sex early. i used to think oh the guy you lose your virginity to you'll have some kind of deep routed connection/love for BLAH blah now I haven't even talked to the guy for like 4 months and feel nothing for him. and I feel losing my virginity wasn't as big of a deal as it's always made out to be

virginity is just a social construct, when it happens the men are usually praised and told to lose it but the women are usually shamed and are told to keep it with them forever but I'm very sex positive
