Diluted hcg?

Did a home pregnancy test at 4:30 PM on Wednesday and drank a lot of water during the day. AF is 2 days late now. Any chance I diluted what hcg that cld be detected?

I Heard you must wait to at least a 4 hour hold. Or use your morning urine. But since you are late I think result should be loud and clear. Maybe retest?
