Stretch marks....? Baby number 2

Question

I have quite a few stretch marks from my first baby... Hope this doesn't sound too silly but if I have them already is it really worth spending all this money on creams lotions and potions to help prevent them?

​I bought everything last time and I religiously rubbed on my tummy twice a day and still got them anyway....?

I used cocoa butter religiously during my last two pregnancies and I will not be using it this go around. It just doesn't work for me. I'll try other methods after I am finished procreating lol

I don't think any creams or oil made much of a difference to me. Although they will help keep the skin hydrated, especially if they bruise and itch like mad. I didn't put any additional weight on but where baby went out all to the front, I couldn't stop them happening unfortunately!

Coco butter there's ones for women with stretchable an u use it before u have them use twice everyday throughout pregnancy

I got a lot with my first pregnancy so I didn't bother with creams the second time around as I didn't have any faith in them and only one stretch mark stretched a tiny bit further and my second baby was a pound heavier than my first. I did moisturizer at the end though only bc I was so itchy.

I'm on my 3rd pregnancy and I did the same but the stretch marks still came! I think that it just softens the skin I don't think any cream can stop them completely. But I do know the quicker the weight gain the more they'll come. I carry so much water while pregnant and gain weight quick so I have quite a few but they don't bother me as I know they'll shrink when bump does ?

I believe it's skin type end of! if you scar easy your more likely to get stretch marks unfortunately just the way it is
