My mom has always told me that God doesn't give you more than you can handle. That is why I wouldn't terminate the pregnancy.

I would never kill my baby regardless. Every child is precious and deserves a chance. God made every child special in their own way ?

I was told there was a chance this little guy would have downs! Even if he had, I would've loved him the same.

I don't think I could carry a baby I knew would have a horrible life :/ I see people with those types of disabilities and they eventually get put in homes. It's heart breaking don't think I could do it.

My dr told me to terminate bc the medication I took before I found out I was pregnant causes birth defects. My bf wanted too bc he didn't know how we would care if our baby was born in such a way. I already had 9 years in the field working with children and adults with cognitive disabilities. I had dozens of unltra sounds... Long story short. My son was born just fine. And I now think of it... What a horrible mistake I would've made if I listened to that dr.

Yes, it would completely kill me but i wouldnt be able to care for a disabled child :( it also wouldnt be fair to the children i have now as i wouldnt be able to share my time equally with them. I also suffer from depression and i think that it would possibly semd me over the edge. Not to mention the suffering the poor baby would have to live through xxx

It's a very personal choice, some people just couldn't handle it, other says it's unfair to all involved. Only you can decide what's best for you. Personally I couldn't do it.

I say no because I have been a pediatric nurse for approximately 3 years and I love working with children who have deficits they are so sweet and gods little creatures. But do what you feel is best in your heart. Good luck with your decision.
