Pap done at 10w

So today after I got to hear my healthy baby heart beat the nurse said I needed to get a pap done. Btw I am 21 years old an have never had one so I was quite nervous. She said that everything was good but I had started bleeding. She said I had something on the outside of my cervix but that I shouldn't worry about it. She said if I have sex to not be alarmed if I bleed. Anyways she was trying to make me feel better but has this happened to anyone else? I told my mom an she said it could be a cyst. The nurse said the bleeding won't affect the baby so should I just not worry?
