False positive??

Can a frer give you a false positive? I see an extremely faint line. You cant see in in pictures and in person its difficult to make out. But im sure i see it. Could it lead to a bfp?

Yes, I have gotten a false positive. I was soo excited till my husband said are you sure. Then I went to the store right after and brought more tests. After two more negatives, I was in tears and my period came that night. A month later, I am still trying to conceive and waiting for my ugly red monster, that should've showed up yesterday. but after that bad experience, I'm afraid to take a test and get heartbroken, seeing the bfn. I'd rather see blood than the test staring back at me screaming NEGATIVE!!!

It's very rare to get false positives ;) unless your on some type of fertility drug.

A faint line is still positive , retest in a day or two :) mine was faint and I tested two days later and it was positive within seconds. Good luck

False positive are very rare normally it only happens when there is something wrong with the test

Mine was super faint.. To the point I thought I was seeing things and I tested 3 more days in a row and it got darker each day. Can you post a picture?
