Other people's baby showers
I have had two miscarriages in the last year, and I'm still having a really hard time dealing with the losses. My due date for my most recent pregnancy would have been in November, so I'm particularly sad as it gets closer.
In a few weeks, I'm supposed to go to a baby shower for a relative. I said I would go, but I'm starting to think that might not be a good idea. I am happy for her, and I guess I wanted to prove to myself that I'm strong enough to go. Has anyone else gone to or skipped baby showers for this reason?
