How long to wait until test?

I'm now three days over due and my period has been very regular. I feel like it's coming (I think?) but is weird that I'm never late. I can feel things going on down there though. There is a small chance I could be pregnant but I don't want to waste money on testing too early. So how long should I wait to get a true reading?

You could always get dollar store tests. They work well and you're not spending an arm and a leg! Good luck :)

Day 4, still cramping and bad lower back pain. Going to test tomorrow if it's still a no show.

Thanks girls. I don't have an issue going into a chemist to pay full price, just don't want to pay for multiple if it stilk hasn't come in a few days time.

Most tests say as soon as your first day missed.  Most women will test positive by then u have a higher chance since u are three days past the start.. some want til a wk late.  If u test and its neg and u think there's still a good chance that u are pg alwait a few more days and test again. Good luck
