Not as serious as I thought

I moved in with my boyfriend, who lives 200 miles from my hometown, in June. Earlier I asked him what he wants to do for Christmas. He said"wouldn't you rather spend it with your family?" What am I supposed to day to that? I might be overreacting but I don't think I am what I thought I was to him.
