Should I go to my fertility appointment?

I have stage 4 endometriosis and I'm ttc. My s/o says he's not ready for children, but I feel he's just scared to admit he does as we never use birthcontrol. He said he doesnt mind if it "happens" but he can't say he wants a baby right now. I have a fertility appointment which my s/o has to come to, but he doesn't want to because he's "not ready". Do I put my chances of having children on hold?.. Or do I follow my heart? Time is ticking.. (Im 25 years old)
