Burning during and after sex

A little bit during and after sex I get this really uncomfortable burning feeling around the outside of my lady parts. I've read it's completely normal since everything is a lot more swollen and sensitive down there but it still really sucks. Anyone else dealing with this? Does anything help? I'd like to have sex with my husband a little more often but if this continues I don't see that happening ?
