Being a housewife or working mom

I've heard a lot of women who openly discriminate women who choose to stay at home, I'm curious to know how many women choose to be a housewife or work.

I myself stay at home, we have no children yet, but are actively trying and my husband really prefers me not having to work. I enjoy it, but at times do consider getting one just to have something to do.
