Stretch marks..??

Question

I'm 21, hit puberty at a really early age & now have old silvery stretch marks all over my body. When i was younger i didnt think anything of them, now that i'm older i'm afraid to even be naked infront of my boyfriend. Makes me feel insecure to wear shorts or anything that exposes my legs/ stomach.

Has anybody had this issue? Anything work to rid the old ones? I've tried strivectin but so far havent seen any results.

Although I personally don't have any yet, I can tell you this from what my friends say (who are ashamed and embarrassed of them) and my personal opinion;

REAL MEN do not care. They will love you for who are, and will think you're beautiful no matter what. If a "man" can't accept the fact that you have them, or don't find them attractive, then they don't deserve to see you naked! Don't be ashamed, or shy. You're beautiful!

Stretch marks, for the most part, are hereditary. I've had stretch marks for years and I'm only 18. Mine are still that dark red/purple-ish color. I can't wait until they turn white or close to my skin color

I had really bad issues with this... I have them on my thighs... I never used to wear shorts or skirts until my fiancé talked me into buying them... He always reassures me that I look beautiful and that makes me confident enough to wear them. I know that probably doesn't help much, but that's what did it for me.. I tried creams and other stuff, but nothing worked.

I've had stretch marks on my hips since i was 14 (and i have always been skinny). I was very insecure in my teenage years and early 20's. Not so much anymore. My current bf nor the exes have never cared about them. I wear bikinis and i dont care if people see them. It's something that's out of your hands. Your boyfriend likes you for you. Dont be embarrassed.

I have them too you're not alone, I heard you can't get rid of the silver-ish ones but if they're still red you can by moisturizing.

Any guy worth being naked in front of will think they are beautiful! When my boyfriend first saw the stretch marks on my thighs he thought that I had hurt myself (I have a history of self abuse) and he got like super sad but then I explained to him (sheepishly) that they were stretch marks and he just kind of shrugged like "oh okay" and later he just ran his fingers over them saying how cool they felt, "like bartle scars" hahaha

Don't worry! You aren't the only one! I have really bad stretch marks on my hips and thighs because like you I hit early and my hips grew so fast it stretched everything out! Some of mine are even purple! I am self conscious about them but my boyfriend doesn't care at all! I told him about them and that I was self concious and he just looked at me and said I was the most beatiful thing he had ever seen and that he had never paid any attention to them, and they they weren't a big deal! Men really don't care all that much (if they're worth your time)! But enough about men! Be empowered and love yourself. They're like scars and don't go away easily so just embrace it. Everyone has some (most everyone)! So don't worry and feel beatiful because you are! Inside and out! :)

I also have stretch marks from growing Ang gaining weight... I used to be very insecure about it, now that it's been a few years it doesn't effect me as much. Don't get me wrong my legs are my least favorite thing on my body but I've learned to deal with it.. My husband also gives me a lot of compliments and says he loves my legs... Most men don't notice stretch marks anyways lol

I have that same problem. ): you aren't alone, no worries. I have this stuff that I'm trying, called Bio Oil. It's a bit pricey. But it's a suggestion.
