Is infertility still a taboo topic?

When I was dealing with my infertility - for four very long years - I felt surrounded by fertile myrtles. What I could not find – other than online – were women on the same path as me. Women waiting in IVF suites. Women doing shots. Women obsessed with their inability to conceive.

It’s one of the big reasons that I started talking about my infertility. I felt that THIS was important and should not be left in the shadows. Infertility is a disease. And it affects 1 in 8 couples. How do we not talk about it more often? Or do you think that it is no longer a taboo topic? Do you feel comfortable talking to friends and family about your TTC challenges?
