Overweight and pregnant?

Hello I have always been overweight . (No making fun plz) i was just wondering have anyone wemon on here been ttc and overweight?  How much did u weigh? Did u get pregnant? How did u get pregnant? How long did it take? Was it hard?  I have suffered depression and anxiety my while life I don't eat alot but I'm fat,  I am 5ft8 and about298 lbs I have never been this big I try to exercise when I can I'm a full time physcology student I take care of my mom n law and husband 3dogs 1 cat a chinchilla I raise my friends baby and cook and clean so I rarely have time for anything else.  I'm just wondering if Italy possible that when I start ttc next yr that I will get pregnant..  just looking for home I guess..

You are not fat you are Beautiful my dear. I'm about 5'6 and 304 or 299 on a good day I have 2 babies well young men 16 and 12 and was PG but lost it a month ago on the 16th but no it wasn't hard for us and we did it the old fashion and fun way!!!
​Keep trying and don't force it it will happen and stop stressing it's not good for you or your body!!!! Have fun with your Honey try not to think about it so much it will happen!!!

My friend was 260 and 5.5 and she delivered a healthy baby not long ago. I'm 5.5 and 200 lb and I'm currently pregnant (8 th week)! It's possible for sure :)

It's definitely possible. I am 5'4" and ttc #2 I was just under 200 when I got preg with my daughter and I started at 215-220 ttc this one but have lost some weight due to switching jobs and eating habits. I wild say to try using apps like myfitnesspal to keep track of everything you eat and do throughout the day and keep getting additional exercise when you can. Also talk to your dr to see if they have any suggestions to help you

Hey girl. Am 5-4 and was 248 when I got my BFP. Am now nine weeks along. I saw the dr the other day. She told me I was a healthy momma. I have always struggle with my weight. I try to eat healthy but I can never seem to lose the weight. So I think as long as you healthy, be proud of who you are. Good luck. ?

Being overweight doesn't necessarily mean it will be hard to get pregnant. Having an underlying condition may cause ttc to become a long journey. My journey took 9 years. It was a matter of finding out what was wrong, what worked for my body to lose weight, what worked to ovulate and to conceive. To keep a long story short, eventually minimal weight loss, metformin and Femara is what worked for me.
