Two engagement rings??

When my boyfriend proposed we didn't have a lot of money and got me a cheaper ring (not that I cared) which had three beds joined with a topaz in the middle and was sterling silver. Then for my in comming birthday he surprised me with a more expensive one (gold with a ruby mounted on it). I love them both but now I have a problem, I can't wear them both as ones gold and ones silver but I love them both. Arh what do I do?
