How long will you wait to tell friends and family?

I don't know when to share the news... I almost don't want to say absyrhingbabd just show up with a baby but that's unrealistic lol I was thinking about waiting until I was 20weeks sonics I lost my son at 17weeks. Any thoughts?

12 weeks, as long as everything has been going well!  We're 4+4 now - and 12+1 will be Christmas!  It's the first grandchild for both set of parents.

I had a mc at 9 weeks last year... I had seen the heart beat just days before and was devastated... I am going to hold off as long as possible this time but already look 3-4 months. (8 weeks tomz)

My miscarriage was at 8w but my baby had stopped at 6w1d for that reason I was way too excited when I seen that little heart beating away at 9w so my family and friends found out then :)

We're waiting to tell family until after we get results from genetic screening at 12 weeks.  I've told only a few close friends so far, and my sister.
