Am i overreacting?

But lately I've noticed that we don't connect well, we like different things. I like dancing but he doesn't. I like drinking (a little bit) and he doesn't. And then some things that he likes i dont like. But i do my very best to try to make him happy and go be part of the things he likes even though i dont like them. Am i the only one that thinks that he should be trying to accommodate and also be part of the things i like? Or am i asking for too much? I swear he is like the sweetest guy but i know that no one is perfect. But shouldn't both sides be trying their best in a relationship??
