Anyone else's SO not happy about this pregnancy?

He was all about the "trying" part. Now that reality has hit, he is freaking out. It makes me feel awful, and very afraid that he will resent the baby. Won't talk to me because he says he doesn't want to say anything to upset me. I'm only 5 weeks, so anything can happen. But I want to be excited and feel like I'm alone in this. Anyone else?

Mine was freaking out and distant
For a while, but once he saw the 12wj ultrasound and that it was now a baby he's excited and changed his ways, I think it's nerves

Not pregnant but my SO compleatly stopes having sex w me in the middle of our fertility window n said he didn't want s baby anymore ???

It's a guy thing we have an imidaite bond as we feel everything 
Sickness sore boobs first kicks etc apartnly with a guy it doesn't happen till babies born that's what sister and law told me happened with her

Same boat. My husband was really rude to from weeks 4-8. I'm 9 weeks now and he's just starting to get better. But we went to our first appointment on the 28th and he freaked out again. Now he's got a cold and he's driving me insane!! I'm scared of the same thing though, I'm worried he isn't going to love our baby. Men are so confusing.

Mine is totally scared. I know that's where his lack of enthusiasm and negative comments come from... When they do come out. I try not to take it personally because I know he doesn't mean it.

My so can careless about my pregnancy. He doesn't want to be part of any of the doctors or ultrasounds. Yet when we first found out he jumped for joy. Now everything changed. I'm just thankful to have support from my true friends.

I think it just takes time for them to come around to the way things are soon going to be. During the first few weeks any little thing my SO & I bickered about would result in him screaming for me to get an abortion. I am now 15w4d & he is all in & has yet to have missed an appointment for our jr. He will come around to it sooner or later ..

Yea I think it's about being patient. We have 2 others and kids are expensive! I see it as another one to love and he sees all of the costs associated, and less alone time with me. He will come around. I have faith. We just need to make time for our man, always.

Yes he said he wanted kids now that I'm preggo he is fresking out. We don't have any kids together but he has a teenage son and I have a pre teen. I think he might be warming up to the situation but we will have to see.

I'm in the exact same position! Trying and waitin and hoping was exciting and joyful now I tested today 4 days late and got a strong positive and he's like "... Hmm maybe it's wrong"... ?! Wtf! It's not but I'm testing in the am to he sure. I feel like he don't even care now!
