Was i right to give a second chance?

So im 16, my boyfriend is 17. We've been together for a year. When we got together, I was 15, he had just turned 17. About 2 months into it, he cheated. Well we both did. He didnt like sleep with anyone or kiss them. But he flirted. He told his ex he missed her, another girl he loved her, and at 4 months he told another girl he loved her and wanted her. The same times, I talked to guys, flirted. Even kissed a guy. 
We would always fight but somehow we fixed it. Our anniversary was a little over a week ago. Right now we are great and i love him alot. We both are jealous but it doesnt really cause problems anymore. Each day we seem to get stronger. Anyways, I was just thinking back..

We are both young, and stupid. There's no way we knew what we wanted. We didnt know how to be in a relationship.

Alot of people say "once a cheater always a cheater." But i cheated.. Amd wouldn't do it again.

He was a bit of a player, as was I.

Im just asking for opinions because i wonder if im right, that at a young age, we both weren't sure who we are or what we wanted. Especially him.

And please don't say things like "oh you wont last your too young blah blah" 
I dont care about the future or us lasting. I care about the present and only the present.

Ok honestly just reading that you are too young. I remember my first boyfriend cheating on me in high school. I was devastated like the world was going to end, I THOUGHT I was in love.
Until I met my husband... OOOOO Lordy I really found out what love was then! Now when I look back at that "relationship" with the first it's like whaaat? Child's play.

If you're not thinking about the future psshh let it go. In a year or two when you grow into ourselves more you may find he wants to live a life you don't or vice versa. It'll only work with you being on the same page

I think you were both wrong for cheating and staying together in my opinion cheating means you don't care enough for the person your with and is never stay and if you cheated that means you didn't care enough and I honestly believe that you should be with different people but that's just from what I've read I don't know you I don't know him and I'm not part of your life and if you are both honestly happy together and got past it then who cares

My fiance and i have been together since we were 16 ... Were going on 4 and a half years... Were great together and love each other dont have crazy fights, dont cheat, live together and obviously have been planning our life together. The whole thing is maturing. It can be very hard to mature and find yourself when your in a relationship but if you really want it you can get through it. Isnt that what is so nice about marriage? Going through rocky and smooth paths and helping each other? Learning about each other?

I also know not all young couples can make it. But if staying together feels right. Then do it. Dont try to over analyze it or youll never be happy. . Follow what feels right.  ??

I think you're right, you guys can totally love past it. It sounds like you have for sure but you don't know necessary of he has in the same way
