Light cramping

Hey guys, back in September I experienced a miscarriage. Before my miscarriage I had a slight cramping on my left side and looked it up it says it is normal the uterus is expanding for the baby. I now have this same cramping on my right side my period is about a week away could this be part of pregnancy or can my mind be playing tricks on me? Has anyone else experienced this?
