High school sweet hearts?

My boyfriend and I will have our 1 year anniversary on the 12 of this month and we're both high school seniors. I'm going off to college but not far at all only like a 4 hour max distance and of course I feel like I will miss him the most!!!!

I know how mushy/ uneducated about love/ and not ready people can think of high school couples, but him and I both only see each other in our futures. What do I do about our relationship!! I don't want to loose him and have even considered staying in town for college so that we can live together..

I know that I should follow my dreams for school, but what if my biggest dream is to be with him? Then what do I do???!

Be with him! I have a friend who feels the same way, her boyfriend graduated high school last year, she's a junior in high school. He moved 10 hours away to go to college, if they can make it, you can make it! You both just have to put forth the effort and then it will all work out!!

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over 2 yrs now. We were high school sweethearts. After graduating we moved 5 hrs away to go through school. Our relationship is still amazing. It can be done I promise! I only see him once a month but in the end, we will have good jobs to support eachother and our kids. I don't want to sugar coat it because it is really hard. But if you love eachother and trust eachother, having the education to get a good job in the future is worth it. Just go with your heart and if he truly loves you he will support you!

College is the perfect time to be on your own! You need to experience life without saying ".. but my boyfriend at home"  I'm not saying you are going to have sex. It's about be able to talk and let guys flirt with you without feeling bad about the situation. I've been there done that. My high school sweetheart and I were together for 3 years +1 year of missing each other at college trying to figure out our situation because it's hard when your lovie is 2+ hours away. I suggest taking a break and breath on your own. Doesn't mean it's over forever.

Stay together for sure! Im a senior in high school also and i have been with my boyfriend for a year and 7 months. We did take a break because we lost focus of who we were as individuals. We focused too much on our couple things that it blinded us. But comjng out of the break proved to us that we are met to be. It will definiately be tough. I am just basically 3 hours away from my love but we make it work. You guys will be good if yall both put the effort. But make sure to focus on yourselves also..just incorporate each other in them. You will be fine!
