Extremely low HCG?

Question

Anyone out there had a successful pregnancy with dismal HCG numbers? After finding out I was pregnant last week but asymptomatic, I got my HCG checked...4-5 weeks pregnant with a value of 8.4...anyone else had this happen? I'm very worried...I can't do anything but think about this...I was so happy when I first found out ?

Yes it is low but not all is lost. Go back and get retested, if it doubles in a 48 hour period you should be fine.

To clarify. I got a BFP at 3-4 weeks and I am still getting an extreme faint positive on the pee sticks at 4-5 weeks with a blood HCG level of 8.4
