Should I be offended?

Question

My S/O refuses to tell his family until he comes to the next ultrasound appt. Should I be offended? He missed my first dr.s appt so he's going to hide the news for another two weeks.

I wouldn't be mad. I'm not "letting" my husband tell his family until Christmas because I really want to surprise them when we go visit and we will also be finishing the first trimester so I feel better letting them all get excited. I think it's good to consider both people as far as telling others cause once it's out there it's out there. Good luck!

Not at all I've already said when I do get bfp I don't want close family and friends knowing till after heartbeat scan etc so I want to wait till everything's going smoothly

I wouldn't be. Only my husband n my mom knew when we got pregnant. We didn't tell his family an the rest of mine until 10weeks after we heard the heart beat. It's hard not to tell people but it's understandable not wanting to right away. We don't get ultra sound until 19weeks which is why we waited for the heart beat.

I don't think you should but everyone is different my babys father hid it from everyone for a really long time so I decided to tell his parents for him at 6 months ( keep in mind I'm turning 9 months on Wednesday ) and he straight up started denying it right after I told and now he wants nothing to do with me or our son unless I get a  DNA test and it comes back positive

We aren't telling until after the first ultrasound either. I wouldn't be offended.
