Estimated weight???

Hey all! Just wondering if any of you know how much approx your baby weighs currently. I'm 21.5 weeks but had an ultrasound on Friday and they told me he was about 1.2lbs!!!! According to sites (including this one) he should only be about 12oz. Am I going to have a 12lb baby!???!! If so...c-section here I come!! Lol

My baby is below average at 12oz. But I carry small babies no bigger than 6lb full term.

Thanks ladies...my doc didn't say anything about it but I they were more concerned with my placenta. I was diagnosed with marginal placenta previa that day. I had to go to labor and delivery due to vaginal bleeding and that's what they came up with. From what I can tell he is larger then average because I also had a scan at my 19th week and he was approx 9oz and during that time he should only have been like 4.5-5oz.

Don't worry about that yet. I was told at 16 weeks my baby was 6oz but average size was 3oz then! I asked my sonographer and it's just a tough guess. But babies can slow down/speed up right till your due date. They will start measuring your bump from 26 weeks that's the most accurate measurement then they will go by that ?

Don't know if this will help you but I took a pic of the measurements in my pregnancy file which shows where they are compared to the average.

Had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday at 20 weeks 4 days and baby weighed 330 grams (11.4 ounces). But she was definitely below average weight wise so I don't know. Did your doctor say anything about it?
