BC intolerance vs. pregnancy

I am VERY intolerable to birth control (various brands/strengths/types) all end with the same result- a very depressed, intolerant, introvert me (to an unhealthy level that always ends in me discontinuing the medication). Now that my SO and I are talking about getting pregnant I'm worried that I may have the same intolerance to the hormone fluctuations as I do with the birth control, has anyone had any similar experience?? And suggestions
