Help ?? Herpes

Ok so I was told by a doctor that I had herpes type 1 & 2 but I think that test was wrong because I have no symptoms at all & I recently used my fathers shaver to shave my private part & I rinse it off with alcohol after I was finish now a week after my father shaved with it and now he have a cold sore on his chin could it had been from me? I'm so worried.

Ask for a more thorough blood screen! 
My old obgyn told me the same thing and I said there is no possible way...
He always had comments because I have a condition called hidradenitis that causes boils all over 
Anyway he always asked me if I had checked and always demanded they be tested.... They were and the swabs came back neg. But he said the blood said yes

So I researched online a lot 
Found there's a certain blood test ( forget what its called now) that's screens your blood more

After I did that test it was negative and he told me he made them double check 
After that I switched drs....

The only way you could pass it through a razor is if you had a breakout at the time you shaved ... which you would definitely know because it is painful!

You dont always have symtoms.  You can have it for years and it wont appear.   I knew someone in high school who every girl he slept with contracted it but he "didnt have it" because thats what his doctor told him.  8 woman can confirm otherwise.  You can be a carrier without symptoms
