Body hair down there while giving birth?

I am so weird about body hair and when I had my daughter I refused to give birth without getting a bikini wax first (it was my first time ever and hurt so bad I threw up!) This time around I told my husband he will have to shave me before because there's no way I'm getting waxed again and I certainly can't reach it lol. Do you care about pubes down there while giving birth?? Will you shave, have it waxed or just say screw it??

Honestly, who cares lol. When I had both mine, I wasn't. That's the last thing that was on my mind. Labor pains and delivering a healthy baby were.

You gotta think about this, all different types of people probably see your ob and that means all different ages too. That means 15 year olds to 70 year olds. Clean people, dirty people. So she's seen it all or he if you have a man. But they've seen it all and they especially understand you can't see down there.

Brazilian wax for sure! I've been waxing once a month since being pregnant with my son 4 years ago. It didn't hurt then, and it doesn't hurt now. Shaving is way more painful and the razor burn and shave bumps are ridiculously uncomfortable. Plus I'd be afraid my hubby would slice me since I like to be completely bare.

I'm like u. I got a wax with my second right before birth it was also my first time and it was horrible. Like the worst. Lol this time I will have either my bf or my best friend do the shaving. I hate body hair and how embarrassing to have everyone in the room looking at u down there and it's like a jungle. I'll do whatever needed to attend least be descent

The hospital here shaves for you as a "sterile" thing, kinda like before surgery

I stopped shaving for pregnancy cuz I don't want to take any chances of ingrown hairs down there - they EfFiN hurt!

And, you shouldn't wax anything while pregnant - apparently (a professional wax person told me) you could rip layers of skin off because ur skin changes during pregnancy.   Youch!!!!!
