On sonogram I'm measuring smaller than expected

By my dates I should be 7 wks and I went to the dr and by the sonogram I measuring 5 wks 5 days has this happened to anyone else and everything b fine? They said everything looks good and that they think my ovulation was just off kinda nervous cause I hav had 2 prior miscarriages.
