Is it time to visit my doctor?

Hi girls (& guys!!) me and my OH have been TTC for a year now - we live in the UK , I'm 19 and I'm wondering is it it to book a visit with my GP or is he going to turn around and say wait? I just don't want to feel a fool! I just feel like I should be at the peak of my fertility but w it's just not working for us and I feel like something's wrong with me - when is the right time to go to my Gp :( feeling very deflated and fed up :( xxxx

Me and my DH were trying for a year before being referred by the doctor to the hospital for further fertility tests. We have now been referred for ivf after two years but have to wait another year before we meet the criteria. It definitely takes time and if youhave any concerns speak with your doctor. All the best x

Before you start trying to conceive you should speak with your doctor. After about a year with no luck your doctor may refer you to a specialist for further fertility testing. DF & I are both 21 & at month 9 of TTC. We are definitely going to be suggesting to our doctor if we could be seen by a specialist as soon as we are past a year and no BFP... But that's just us!
