I'm in a group of friends that likes to hang out and do fun things 1-2 times a week. I'm in highschool and have a part time job, and my parents make manage my own finances. I am super paranoid when it comes to money and between gas, car insurance, Christmas presents, and saving up, I only had $40 to spend on fun things this month! I've already spent $34 but my friends all want to go see a movie this week. I told them I couldn't go but I haven't really told them why. I know my boyfriend would pay for me but I hate making him cover my expenses! He always tries to pay for our dates but I always feel so guilty and make him let me pay him back! I've been successful in suggesting things to my friends that don't cost money, but they all really want to go see Mockingjay. What should I do??? Any money advice??? This is a reoccurring problem.
