When to tell your child ...

When did you tell your child you were having a baby? Like how far along were you? I have a 3 year old son I'm only very early at the moment. 9w4. I don't think I will tell him yet but how long did you all wait?

I would probably wait until you want others to know as he will no doubt tell them lol :) no secrets with a 3 year old :)

I was pregnant at the end of last year, I told my boys (aged 3&5) straight away (4 weeks) that they were going to be brothers I then lost the baby at 10 weeks and my 5 year old found it really hard. I'm now 26 weeks pregnant and I told my boys this time after the 12 week scan, I took the photo home to show them ?

I'm not telling my daughter until I'm 14-16 weeks. I'm 11w5d now and I want to wait till after my next appointment or till her birthday. Haven't really told anyone besides my s/o, my mom and brother and sis in law. I had a mc in June so I'm waiting extra long this time to tell everyone.

I suggest you to tell them after 12 week after that because we are so happy when we found out we are pregnant we forget that a miscarriage could happen. I had been pregnant six month ago and I was so happy my firs pregnancy I found out they were twins and told everyon 8 weeks had a miscarriage it so hard from all the phone calls and all the people telling me its going to be ok That im young and i will have children again .
