I ovulated on 11/12 I could tell because of heavy cramping. We are trying for a girl. Does my chances look good? They say sperm can live up to 5 days so I'm thinking I'm pretty good... What do you guys think?

I would never risk that statistic. I'm in med school to be an obgyn and evey textbook gives you the golden three days. Two days before O and the day after! The only way to guarantee the sex of your child is to do IVF with sperm separation and that's very difficult to find! Good luck to you and baby dust!

I've read that if you want a girl you should bd on the day you ovulate. Look it up online there's something about boy sperm will live longer waiting for the egg but girl sperm can get there quicker so another words don't have sex until the day you ov so as no boy sperm waiting I suppose it makes sense

I think you have a very good chance! I got pregnant with my lil girl a couple days before my AF and I spotted when it was time for my AF and I took 2 pregnancy test and they popped up positive really quick

You can't choose a sex. you only have xx chromosomes. men have xy bit there's no way of figuring out which sperms will get to the egg.
