What would you choose?

Question

I read an article today about a woman who had complications while giving birth and she ended up having to make a decision to have the doctors save either her life or her unborn child's, and she chose her child to live.

Now I saw a few opinions on the matter. Some women saying they would give up their life for their child, others saying they would choose themselves because they had other babies at home that needed their mommy and also some men who said that if they had to make the decision, they would would have the doctors try all they could, but if it came down to it, save the wife.

I know it's a hard decision to make either way, but what would you pick?

As much as I would love to save my child's life, I could never leave my husband behind. We've talked about this a lot. I would, however, feel completely awful about it afterwards. It'd be so hard to leave your unborn child.

I would want them to save my children. But I know most will try to save the mother because she can have more. Though I wouldn't want to be saved, I want my children to be, they are the ones who can make a difference in life. I have lived my life. They are just beginning.
