How long did it take for a BFP after stopping BC?

BFP after stopping BC?" /> I stopped my BC a few weeks ago and would love to see that BFP soon!
I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I've heard it can take awhile for your body to get back to a normal cycle after stopping. 
Any insights?

You can get pregnant even if u miss one day of your birth control. So no time at all.

Definitely track ovulation using opk's. I was so irregular after the pill and I ovulated different times each month. Good luck

I took yasmin for 13 years. Took me 5months to concieve but I discovered at 3 I had a hormone inbalance so I started taking maca powder and agnus castus (vitex) in month 4 and added to this a fertility oil uterus massage in month 5. I never felt better in my life mentally and physically in those last 2 months- obviously healthier for a baby to grow as I'm now almost 6 wks !!

I think it depends on your BC as well but I took my IUD out and was pregnant 2 weeks later!

I stopped my pill sep 5 had a withdrawl bleed and then had a period 10/14 and got my Bfp 11/18 didn't think I would be blessed so quickly but as said by others just depends on your body!! Baby dust

I think it might have to do with how your periods were before BC. I've always been fairly regular. I stopped the pill in August, I had one period in September (came the day it was supposed to) and missed my period in October and got a BFP. I was really surprised myself, but somehow my body just got back on track. The reason it's hard (in my opinion) to get pregnant after BC isn't because it's "still in your system" (a lot of people on here say that) because if you think about it, we are told to take the pill every single day and that you could get pregnant if you miss one. If that's the case, then the effect of the pills shouldn't linger after you stop.

It's just that when you don't have a regular cycle (which is what can take a while after stopping), it's hard to track when you're ovulating. I researched how to know when I'm ovulating based on things that happen with your body so that I wasn't just relying on an app that was giving me its best guess. I think that helped me cause I personally think I ovulated later than glow told me, so I made sure we did the deed and I personally think that's when I conceived. Sorry so long but I was just in the same boat as you so I did lots of online reading and such and this is what I think! Good luck!!!
