Hypothyroidism- Anyone??

Anyone else out there have hypo/hyper thyroid? My levels were insanely high-45.8. Anywhere between 1-4 is normal. My T4 to my Dr's surprise was in the normal range though. Any how, my question is this. I started taking the proper dose, and I noticed my period this month was a lot lighter than normal (last few months have been very heavy), and it was shorter than normal. Has anyone experienced this and gotten bloodwork done and their levels were back to normal or at least closer? I get bloodwork done this Wednesday. I'm hoping my follicular phase is going to be longer this month because of my shorter, not as heavy flow. Thank you for any insight/info.
