Shaving help!!!

So whenever I shave my pubic area it comes back the next day and the hairs are super stiff. My boyfriend is moving in with me next week and I know I'll probably need to start shaving everyday. But it hurts so bad to shave two days in a row!!! The hairs are so stiff and sore and some get ingrown. I've tried using more shaving cream but it hurts like hell and I just get more red and bumpy. Any advice ????
