Giving up hope!

I am giving up hope on getting preg, me & my boyfriend have been trying for over a year....I get my period every month but not the same time so obv they are irregular periods...I never know when I'm ovulating...& my boyfriend just got testes & have low sperm count & continues to smoke weed.... His urologist said if we want kids like now now to do fertility but that's very expensive & wanted to get preg naturally...I feel like I'll never get preg at this rate....what should I do?
