Ovulating less than a week ago...weird symptoms.

So I haven't had a regular cycle since I was 16. I'm thirty now and was just diagnosed diabetic a month ago. They put me on metformin and warned me it would increase fertility. My husband and I aren't trying to conceive but don't use any method except pulling out. I decided to try and track my ovulation since I have symptoms of that more than my period.

So last week I had obvious signs of ovulation, tender breasts, vaginal mucus etc. Today though I'm having pelvic cramps that feel like tearing and I still have really tender breasts. Maybe it's just because I'm not use to it but could something else be going on? Any info appreciated. I am going to be setting up an appointment with a gyno next week.
