Is it ok for a 16 year old to date a 20 year old?????

So there is this guy and he has been complimenting me and telling my that I'm beautiful and gorgeous and I know that he is a good guy cuz I've known him for years and he is trying to get to know me and everything. But I think that he thinks that I'm older. ?

Yes its perfectly okay. Im 16 and my fiance is 20. Weve been together since I was 14 and he was 18. It can or can not be illegal depending on the state and age of consent if you or him may be concerned of that. Just look up age of consent for where you are located to find out. But bring up your age one day while having a conversation without making it obvious your telling him on purpose. He may not care about your true age. He may be concerned of legality, so just check before you tell him.

In the uk.. You're legal so I would say it's okay if you're comfortable. Just to say it's legal it doesn't mean it's necessarily  right for you both. Weigh up the pros and cons FAIRLY and discuss it with a trusted adult maybe a aunt because mums are sometimes embarrassing!

I dated a 20 year old when I was 15. We were 4 1/2 years apart. In NY youre legal at 17. My mom took months to test and trust him before she let him drive me places but other than that all she cared about was if i was happy. If I was, she was too.

Not really. Your at complete life different moments in your life. Its not so much age as responsibilities. He's an adult while your still in school. Not saying I'm against it. There are always exceptions and its not like your 12. You look like an adult so he may think your 17 or 18..
