False positive with blue dye test?!

Question

Ok so I was on BC for about 10 years and have been off it for about 5 months. About a month ago I took 2 blue dye tests when I was 2 wks late, and I got a faint line-it was clearly there. The next was was there but very faint. So I waited a few days, took a pink dye test and nothing then on TOP of that, aunt flow came the next day... I just don't know how reliable they are in looking for ANY input , thanks ladies!!

That would make a lot more sense than a false pos test, I know how rare they are a line is a line pretty much.. It's scary to take one of the digital tests to be honest, a part of me and my husband must like the fact that it's a "maybe it is, maybe it isn't" positive... But it's time to buck up and do it, I am sick of not knowing for sure. Thank you much appreciated!

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Your body begins making the hormone but the baby doesn't implant for a number of reasons. There's VERY RARE instances of false positives with any test, but I highly recommend the digital- they are just as sensitive and easy to read!
