Is it bad that I forgot?

Today is my sons 2nd birthday. I placed him for adoption 2 years ago (obviously) and just got a text from his parents with a new picture and updates and I don't feel bad I forgot but I feel bad for not feeling bad?

I wouldn't blame you. I'm adopted and sometimes on my birthday I wonder if my bio mum thought of me. If she did then thats nice. If not, its okay.  You're life is moving on, putting what happened at the back of your mind is normal

I think it's great that you have dealt with the adoption process. You must be comfortable with his parents. Every adoptee parents dream. I hope to have an adopted child someday that I can love like my own, and that will have a normal childhood (what it can be). Thank God for people choosing adoption so people like us can have babies. ❤️
