Boyfriend hanging out alone with women??

My SO told me that he feels like he needs to ask to hangout with other women. I don't know how I feel about him hanging out with other women alone. He thinks it's dysfunctional for him to feel like he needs permission to catch up with a good friend. He never use to be like this. Whenever he needed to catch up with a good friend he would take me, and his woman friend out to coffee. I feel like he would never do anything to hurt me, but I just don't see why he would feel the need to hangout alone with other women. Please give me your opinions!

I think that when you're in a serious committed relationship you shouldn't be alone with a member of the opposite sex,family doesn't count, even if you trust them 100%, it's just a matter of respect. But I'm not saying you can't hang out with other people! Like you said, he should bring you with him :) unless other people are going to be there too!

My OH has a friend who is a woman who he meets for coffee now and then - he is with me and she is with her husband but they have been friends for years, I have a make friend who I meet for a drink now and then & it's cool. It's called trust. You can't go everywhere with him! If you don't trust him being alone with other women then maybe you should re-evaluate your situation?

I really wouldn't worry about it, at the end of the day your the girl he calls his own and these other girls are not. I've been in his position as I have a lot of friends that are boys and my boyfriend was getting paranoid to and it's caused us to brake up several times... If you really love him you need to understand that maybe he just gets on better with the opposite sex and out your paranoia to a side ✌️

This is obviously a matter of trust and respect. For me, I trust my man and I know his friends. Some of his friends are friends with my friends. If he talks to them alone, that's fine. Doesn't mean he's going to cheat on me lol if that's the number one thing in your head then you need to figure out why, there's a reason why you'd think that way. You're not the only one who feels that way though. Some of my friends won't let their husbands go out and etc., I let my man go out clubbing with his single friends, he's actually the only married one. He's shown me I can trust him and if he breaks it, then he does, move on, he's not the only man out here. Everything happens for a reason, I believe that. Also, I don't think he has spoken with another sex alone but if he would, I wouldn't have any issues with it. If you have issues with that, even if you know the person then there's something there, figure it out because that can easily spoil everything.

I'm sorry but there is no reason why he should feel as though he is entitled to chill with any girl he wants. A relationship is built on trust AND respect. He needs to respect that you don't like it.  It's that simple. If he doesn't like it then you need to find someone that will.
