Take birth control or wait¿?¿

I was on birth control, for a while. I missed a couple days, and didn't take them the day I had sex. I had my last day of period the day before though. He did eject, and there was no conform. I got my new birth control pill pack today, but I'm not sure if I should start it yet, because I have a fear I might be pregnant.

Birth control can work like plan b so its not a good idea to start until you know you are not
