When will depo wear off?!

I was on depo for two years. My last shot was July 18, 2014. We have been trying to get pregnant ever since then. My periods are irregular, mostly just spotting. Does anyone have any advice? I'm trying to speed this process up. Hoping to get pregnant by Christmas.

Depo can remain in you for 18+ months. Cause depo is stored in fat and muscle. My advice let your body do its own thing.

Ugh I hate depo,  im actually in the same boat as you!  Except im not trying to concieve at the moment. But I feel your pain,  you may not be able to reproduce for about a year after your last shot

I got off in March and I'm still not regular.

It just takes time. Relax and don't stress, trying to rush it can actually make it harder!

I took deposit for three years. It has some very serious consequences. There is a chance of birth deformity if you get pregnant before deposit has cleared your system. It took me a full year to start having a period again. I highly recommend you wait a year before you try to conceive. I know it's a long time, but you want your child to be healthy.

My doctor told me I should take the pill for at least a year after getting off of depo to regulate my periods and ovulation.
