So many names?!

I see that most of the topics here have one or more middle name or long hyphenated first names, is this a trend I missed out on or a preference? My husband thinks no middle name is more unique but I kind of like them. Thoughts?

I don't care for the hyphenated long names or the multiple middle names. If you want to be unique just use a letter for the middle name. Some times I see name and my first though is wow, that's a mouthful. Good luck!

How will the kid know they are in real trouble without one? Just think about resume & graduation- you need at least an initial. Wouldn't have a monogram either. You could honor a family member with a middle name;)

I know someone who did not give their girls middle names with the intention that when they got married they would take their maiden name as their middle name.
