Baby's movements decreased?

Question

I'm 25+2 and the past 2 days my little ones movements haven't been as many as the past few days before hand.

Don't get me wrong I've felt her move more than 10x today but she's being quiet.

People seem to say it's because of the excitement with Xmas etc but I dunno. I checked her hb this morning and it was between 150-155bpm

Anyone else had this? Could it be a wee growth spurt?

I don't think movement counts become a big deal until the 3rd tri

Drink a sugary drink. That will get him/her moving.

I would call your doctor. I'm only 9 weeks, but I went to my first prenatal checkup at 7 weeks and they gave me a list of things to call about if I ever was worried. Decrease in movement is one of them. I would see if you can see a doctor just to be sure. Good luck mama!

With DD I often didn't notice her movements if I was busy during the day but I would drink something ice cold, put a frozen bag of veggies or push on my stomach to kind of agitate her/wake her up and she'd give me a good kick back ?

I actually went to the ER last night for this same reason. It had been 48 hours and I hadn't felt a thing. I got there and baby was perfectly fine. I'm 23 weeks, btw.

movements usually taper off between 22-27 weeks and then pick up again. good luck x

Usually she has a little blow out, goes mad for a day (being quite active) then sleeps it off the next day and sometimes 2 days. Just hoping she picks up today. If she doesn't I'm going to triage to ask them to have a little listen in.

Could be all the excitement from Christmas where I'm shattered (I have a 2 yo boy too and a 27 yo bigger boy that goes by the name of husband)
