Anybody eat cold cuts?

I'm currently eating chipotle chicken from my deli and wondering did you other ladies eat cold cuts too?

I did once after I cooked it because I thought it was too dramatic not to but after reading about it I freaked out. Scary. I wouldn't again

I do. 90% of the time I heat it up to avoid the "you shouldn't eat that", but sometimes it's nice to have a cold sandwhich. When I eat a cold one I always use the freshest meat possible and definitely not the prepackaged meat or premade sandwhiches. I completely understand the risk of listeria, but to me it's a risk worth taking. You can get listeria from everything, saw on the news about it in prepackaged apples. I'm not going to stop eating raw apples. Personally, i feel the risk is so small, that I don't even worry when I do eat it.

Our doc said no way, I haven't. They said if I wanted to that it must be heated.

I did..not a lot but if we were out at someone's house and having buns and meat I would just microwave it first.

I always eat deli meat and I hate it heated so I never do. I've had 2 kids already and did the same thing. Honestly I think that if something was going to happen it would have at least once in past 25 years and not just because I'm pregnant now but that's just me.

The only meats I don't eat is cured (chorizo, salami) etc because they aren't technically cooked, I eat cold ham, beef etc there are so many things on a days they say you can't eat, I think it's stupid! But I follow most of it just to be sure

Heat up the meat so it kills the bacteria and u can eat it
